Set in the picturesque village of Mousehole, this Scandi kitchen is the embodiment of refined, minimalist design. The brief called for an organic, serene atmosphere — one that offered ample storage for a growing family while celebrating the homeowner’s curated collection of ceramics and succulents. Our designer responded with a softly understated matt white kitchen, elevated by warm oak accents that bring subtle texture and natural warmth. With sweeping views of St Michael’s Mount as a backdrop, the design remains intentionally quiet, allowing the coastal setting to shine. Concrete-effect worktops, considered lighting, and generously proportioned drawers complete a Scandi kitchen that feels both effortlessly elegant and thoughtfully functional.

A Scandi kitchen inspired by coastal calm
Every element in this Scandi kitchen was chosen to blend elegance with everyday practicality. A Quooker boiling water tap delivers instant hot water while freeing up valuable worktop space — the kind of discreet innovation that supports a minimalist lifestyle. Open oak shelving reinforces the natural, organic palette, offering space to display meaningful pieces without overwhelming the calm aesthetic. The matt white cabinetry features a fingerprint-resistant finish, a thoughtful detail that keeps the space looking pristine with ease. Now Kitchens were able to design around the customers vision — inspired by Scandinavian simplicity and something entirely their own. The end result is a Scandi Kitchen and a delightful space that reflects the customers style and personality, without compromising on function or style.
